I just wanted to take a moment this summer to send an e mail and say thank you. This year, I was honored with the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District’s educator of the year award.

I know…I am shocked too! They only give one of these out a year to a teacher in the entire school district. One of the main reasons for the award is the leadership program at Armijo. You’re training, philosophy and message that is embedded into the program is a huge reason why it is recognized as the best in our district. Without you, this would not have been possible.

Thank you for all that you do. You really are amazing.
